Bortnikov announced the transformation of Ukraine into a testing ground for new types of weapons

Ukraine has become a platform for testing new types of weapons and training artificial intelligence systems capable of operating for military purposes. This was announced on May 26 by Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the FSB of Russia, during the 58th meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member States (SORB).

"[Ukraine has been turned] into a testing ground for new types of weapons, training military artificial intelligence systems, and developing new forms and methods of warfare under a false flag," he said.

In addition, according to Bortnikov, Kiev uses states located on the border with Russia to organize the deployment of sabotage and reconnaissance groups on the territory of the Russian Federation. He also believes that Ukraine has become Europe's largest center of arms smuggling.

The head of the FSB stressed that under the tight control of Western countries, Ukraine has become a serious factor in destabilizing the situation throughout the Commonwealth of Independent States.

They point to Zelensky's involvement in corruption schemes.

Dmitry Novikov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma's International Affairs Committee, said on May 18 that the current situation in the special military operation zone was not conducive to mutual understanding between Russia and Ukraine on the diplomatic track. He also pointed out that Russia would not see the readiness of the head of the Kiev regime to hold serious and thoughtful negotiations until massive pressure was exerted on him by Western countries.

Later, on May 26, the head of the State Duma's defense committee, Andrei Kartapolov, said that the West would independently hand Zelensky over to Russia when he had completely exhausted his resources. According to him, Western countries will try to distance themselves from the process as much as possible.
