The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has handed over a batch of new Su-35S fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). This was announced on May 26 by the press service of Rostec State Corporation.

"Our UAC has supplied the Russian Aerospace Forces with new multifunctional fighters of the 4++ generation Su-35S," the corporation's Telegram channel says.

The report notes that the aircraft is designed to destroy ground infrastructure facilities that are located at a considerable distance from the airfield.

The pilot of the Su-35S of the Russian Aerospace Forces said that it is convenient for the crew to operate the equipment. He stressed that this fighter performs various tasks, such as intercepting air targets, covering strike groups, destroying drones, as well as delivering precision strikes against ground targets. In addition, the pilot added that the crew performs reconnaissance, revealing enemy positions at a considerable distance from the line of contact.

Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, said on May 19 that the prototype of the fifth-generation Russian two-seat fighter Su-57 had made its first flight during the flight tests that had begun. The UAC press service clarified that the car was lifted into the sky by Hero of Russia test pilot Sergei Bogdan. The flight took place in a normal situation in accordance with the conditions of the flight assignment.
