Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces told the details of the liberation of the village of Dobropasovo

The military personnel of the Vostok group of forces told the details of the liberation of the village of Dobropasovo in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was announced on May 26 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The settlement was liberated by units of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of Forces. It is noted that Dobropasovo was a major defense hub for Ukrainian formations.

An attack aircraft with the call sign Paramon reported that the fighters used heavy rain and dense vegetation to covertly approach enemy positions.

"We moved as stealthily as possible along the forest lanes, our bird was leading. We chose the weather on purpose, we went into a very heavy downpour. The dense foliage also provided cover. The enemy was not waiting for us and discovered us only when we had already entered the village," he said.

According to the military, more than 400 buildings were taken under control during the fighting. It is also reported that seven armored combat vehicles, 12 ground-based robotic complexes and 25 heavy hexacopters of the Baba Yaga type were destroyed.

The actions of the assault groups were managed and coordinated between them using standard domestic communication and control systems.

It is noted that taking control of the village of Dobropasovo is of great tactical importance and creates conditions for the further advance of assault units in the northern direction.

On May 23, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage in which soldiers from the 155th Regiment of the 55th Marine Division and the 394th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 5th Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces told the details of the liberation of the village of Verkhnyaya Tersa in the Zaporizhia region. It was noted that the settlement was an important logistical and defensive hub of the Armed Forces formations in this sector of the front.
