A certificate on the status of an individual personal account will help you check whether all work periods are taken into account when calculating a pension, and potentially increase the amount of payments. Lyudmila Ivanova-Shvets, Associate Professor of the Basic Department of Human Resource Management at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, told about this on May 26.

"To check whether all work periods are taken into account when calculating pensions, you need to order a certificate of pension rights from the Social Fund of Russia — through Gosuslugi or personally at the branch," she told RIA Novosti.
