Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the federal law "On Ratification of the Protocol on Termination of the Agreement on Assistance to Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons dated September 24, 1993." The relevant document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on May 25.

The law was adopted by the State Duma on May 13, after which it was also approved by the Federation Council on May 20.
