In a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov informed the American side that the Russian Armed Forces (AF) were launching systematic strikes against facilities located in Kiev used for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"Lavrov officially informed the American side that <...> The armed forces of the Russian Federation are launching systematic and consistent strikes against targets located in Kiev," the statement said.
