City blocks will be built on the site of the former industrial zone "Spotlight"

Applications for participation in auctions for two integrated territorial development (CDT) projects in the former industrial zone "Spotlight" in the Perovo district have been accepted in Moscow. This was announced on Monday, May 25, by Vladimir Yefimov, head of the urban planning and construction complex.

According to him, investors will have to implement two projects with an area of 16.9 and 11.74 hectares. Within the framework of one, it is planned to build about 363 thousand square meters of real estate, including healthcare and education facilities, in the second — more than 321 thousand square meters, of which part will be occupied by social and entertainment infrastructure. It is expected that this will create about 2 thousand jobs, RT notes.

The sites are located near the Perovo metro station and at the intersection of Elektrodnaya and Plekhanova streets. The winners of the bidding will form modern neighborhoods with housing and social infrastructure — schools, kindergartens, a polyclinic and a medical center, writes NSN.

In April, Yefimov noted that the implementation of the CRT projects approved in the first quarter of 2026 would make it possible to reorganize plots with a total area of 350 hectares and build about 4.6 million square meters on them. m of real estate. The CRT projects are to be implemented in 27 districts of eight administrative districts of Moscow – Vostochny, Zapadny, Novomoskovsky, Severny, Tsentralny, Yuzhny, South-Vostochny and South-Zapadny, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
