Putin sent greetings to SPIEF 2026 participants
The official website of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has posted greetings to the participants, organizers and guests of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026, which will be held under the motto "Pragmatic dialogue is the way to a stable future."
In his greeting, the head of the Russian state noted that the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum traditionally brings together leading politicians, business representatives, scientists and public figures to discuss topical issues of Russian and global politics and economics.
"Today, when international relations and economic ties are facing unprecedented challenges, fragmentation and disruption of logistics and technological chains, it is pragmatism and equal dialogue that are especially relevant and in demand. I would like to emphasize that our country has been and remains an integral part of the global economic system. We are open to constructive cooperation with all partners who share the principles of mutual respect and are ready to build honest long-term relationships. Together with our colleagues, we continue to work actively in multilateral organizations — the United Nations and its structures, the EAEU, the CIS, BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which Russia assumed the chairmanship of in 2026," Vladimir Putin said.
The Russian President expressed confidence that the intense and result-oriented discussions at the Forum would serve to develop new effective solutions in all areas of economic and social life.
