Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on May 24 during a visit to China that he might resign soon.

"Perhaps I will resign soon," the N1 TV channel quotes him as saying.

He clarified that he was not going to prematurely reduce his powers, as former President Boris Tadic had done earlier.
