Eight people were killed in a traffic accident involving a bus and a truck in Brazil. This was reported on May 24 by CNN Brazil, citing sources.

"On Sunday morning, at least eight people were killed on the BR-251 highway in Santa Cruz de Salinas, in the northern state of Minas Gerais, as a result of a collision between a bus and a truck that led to a fire," the publication says.

It is specified that 10 more people were injured. In addition, representatives of the regional fire service reported that all the victims were passengers of the bus, among them was an infant.

Turkiye newspaper reported on May 24 that a tourist bus overturned in the Turkish city of Canakkale, injuring 46 people. According to preliminary information, there is no threat to their lives.
