French tennis player Arthur Gea was unable to continue the first round match of the French Open against Russian Karen Khachanov and was forced to leave the court due to stomach problems. This was announced on May 24 by the Univers Tennis publication.

"I need to go to the bathroom, I can't move anymore," the publication quotes him as saying to the super supervisor on page X (ex. Twitter).

The referee asked the tennis player to end the current game. Gea managed to win his serve, after which he immediately left the court.

Khachanov completed his performance at the Hamburg tournament on May 20. In the second round of the competition, he lost to Frenchman Hugo Humber. Khachanov ranks 15th in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). The prize fund of the Hamburg tournament exceeds €2.2 million.
