"One of the key elements of the proposed agreement between Iran and the United States is Tehran's apparent commitment to give up its reserves of highly enriched uranium," the publication says.

The details of this point remain unclear, as the parties have not yet agreed on how Iran will have to get rid of its uranium reserves. It is expected that the discussion of this issue will continue at the next round of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program.

It is claimed that any agreement to resolve the conflict between the United States and Iran will include the unblocking of Tehran's frozen foreign assets.

"Iran will have access to most of these assets, which the United States and its allies will transfer to the reconstruction fund, only after reaching a final agreement on the nuclear program, which <...> will encourage Iran to stay at the negotiating table and conclude an agreement," American officials told the publication.

On the same day, Axios journalist Barak Ravid reported that the unilateral agreement between the United States and Iran could be made public on May 24. The correspondent clarified that all the leaders of the Middle East states who participated in telephone talks with the head of the White House called on him to conclude an agreement on ending the war and de-escalation.
