On May 23, Australian cosmonaut Franz Fibek spoke about how he invited Valentina Gagarina, the widow of Soviet pilot and cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, to dance.

He said that he met Gagarin's family at the Congress of astronauts in Vienna in 1993, which he organized on behalf of the Association of Space Explorers.

"On the last day [of the astronaut Congress] there was a farewell evening with dancing. And I thought: I'll try to ask her to dance, will she agree. And she agreed. It was unexpected for many," the cosmonaut shared in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Fibek shared on May 15 that he does not believe in the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations, but would like to see aliens. He also noted that during his flight into space, he never saw alien creatures or UFOs.
