Kalashnikov received AK-12 and AK-15 export passports
The Kalashnikov Group of Companies has received export passports for shortened and small-sized versions of AK-12 and AK-15 assault rifles. This was announced on May 22 by Alan Lushnikov, CEO of the corporation.
"We have received permits for export versions of the AK-12K, subcompact version, and the AK-15, too, compact and subcompact versions, export caliber 7.62,— TASS quoted him as saying.
Weapons of this type, as explained by the head of the Civil Code, are in demand. According to him, it was developed in cooperation with representatives of the airborne troops of the Russian Federation. Lushnikov stated that the first batch of such assault rifles had already been shipped and sent to the area of the special military operation.
The first batch of AK-12s this year was delivered to the state customer in April. These submachine guns are part of the equipment of the soldier "Ratnik" and differ from previous generations in thoughtful ergonomics, adaptation to daily use, increased accuracy and accuracy of shooting. At the beginning of the same month, it was reported that the production volume of the AK-12 was increased by 15% compared to the planned target of 2025.
