71% of citizens positively assess the work of Russian President Vladimir Putin as leader of the state. This is evidenced on May 22 by the results of a survey on the website of the Public Opinion Foundation (POM).

According to the survey, 71% of respondents also said they trusted Putin. At the same time, 51% of Russians positively assessed the activities of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. In addition, 46% of the participants pointed to the good work of the Russian government.

It is noted that the survey was conducted between May 15 and 17 among 1.5 thousand adult residents of the country.

In October 2025, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported that data from the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM), according to which Putin and the Russian military are trusted by the vast majority of Russians, are telling indicators.
