More than 200 accidents involving electric scooters were recorded in Krasnoyarsk.

202 road accidents involving electric scooters have been recorded in the Krasnoyarsk Territory since the beginning of 2026. Such data is provided by the regional traffic police information center on social networks on Friday, May 22.

There are 41 children among the injured, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. The incidents peaked on the warmest days of spring, the ministry said.

Although accidents were recorded in different parts of the region, most of them happened in the regional capital.

A regulation that regulates the use of electric scooters in the city has come into force in Krasnoyarsk. In case of violation of the rules, the fine for individuals will be 4 thousand rubles, for legal entities — 50 thousand rubles.

There is also a special chatbot in Maks, which allows you to complain about SIM users who violate the rules prescribed in the document. This is, for example, parking at bus stops, which is prohibited.

Earlier in May, it was reported that the Ministry of Transport, together with the regional authorities, would approve infrastructure development plans for SIM systems and their integration into urban transport systems. State registration of scooters will also be provided through the installation of license plates on them.
