By 2030, the area of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ) will almost triple to 5.7 million square meters, and total investments will grow 2.4 times to a record 1.2 trillion rubles. This was announced in the Maks messenger by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

The head of the capital called Technopolis Moscow the largest SEZ in Russia "both in terms of investments and operating areas of enterprises." He noted that more than 2.1 million square meters have been built on the territory of the technopolis. m of industrial and public and business areas. The total volume of private and budgetary investments in the development of industry in the SEZ by the end of 2025 amounted to 493 billion rubles.

More than 240 high-tech companies are located in the capital's SEZ, 129 of which have resident status, said the mayor of Moscow. In total, more than 30 thousand high-paying jobs have been created in the territory of the special economic zone.

Sobyanin recalled that SEZ resident status gives companies a number of advantages. In particular, they are exempt from property, transport and land taxes for 10 years. There is also a free customs zone regime for residents and land lease benefits are provided, and the income tax rate for them is 2%.

The head of the capital said that by 2030, the Moscow authorities plan to increase the volume of industrial space in the city from 13 million square meters. up to 25.3 million square meters. m. It is expected that by 2032, 50% of Moscow's industrial production will be high-tech.
