According to the agency, it will be open until September 6 and for the second year in a row will offer citizens the opportunity to play chess and participate in tournaments.

It is noted that in 2026, the sites will be located in the park near the Metropol Hotel, the Gravity Park and the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve. On weekdays, they will be open from 15:00 to 20:00, where you can use chess boards and clocks for free, writes Moscow 24.

According to the department, tournaments for different categories of participants, from amateurs to professionals, are planned for the weekend. The winners and prize—winners will receive memorable gifts, and the finalists will receive diplomas, medals and valuable prizes.

The ministry also added that an entertainment program will be prepared for the guests: simultaneous playing sessions with grandmasters, master classes, quizzes, photo zones and activities for the whole family. The results of the project will be announced on September 6, according to the Moscow City News Agency.
