The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (HAC) of Ukraine has refused to cancel the preventive measure imposed on the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak. This was reported on May 21 by the Ukrainian newspaper Strana.ua" in his Telegram channel.

"The appeal left the measure of restraint for Ermak unchanged — a bail of 140 million hryvnias," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, in confirmation of the fulfillment of the terms of the court decision, Ermak demonstrated an electronic bracelet on his leg. He is required to wear this monitoring device after leaving the detention facility, which became possible due to the deposit of a cash deposit.

Yermak was charged with corruption on May 12. Later, a court in Ukraine decided to take him into custody. At the same time, the former head of the office of the head of the Kiev regime reported that his lawyers would appeal the court's decision as soon as possible.

Subsequently, on May 18, the full bail amount of 140 million hryvnias ($3.1 million) was paid for Ermak. At the same time, he was released on bail from jail. Ermak spent four nights in the detention center.

According to Ukrayinska Pravda, seven individuals and seven legal entities have transferred funds for collateral. Among them were ex-coach of the national football team of Ukraine Sergey Rebrov — 30 million hryvnia, lawyer Rosa Tapanova — 8 million hryvnia, former partner of the Asters Sergey Sviriba — 6.5 million hryvnia, lawyer Igor Fomin — 5 million hryvnia.
