Russia's international reserves decreased by $2.1 billion over the week and amounted to $768.9 billion as of May 15. This became known from the data of the Central Bank of Russia.

According to the regulator, the decrease occurred as a result of a market revaluation of assets and changes in the structure of reserves. As of May 8, international reserves stood at $771 billion.

International reserves include highly liquid foreign assets managed by the Bank of Russia and the Government of the Russian Federation, including foreign currency and monetary gold.
