A bus to the central beach will be launched in Lipetsk

Starting from June 1, a bus will be launched to the central beach in Lipetsk. The city administration is looking for a contractor who will maintain route 359.

During the summer, several flights of this route will run to Mayakovsky Street with a stop at the central beach.

The terms of the competition are posted on the public procurement website. According to GOROD48, the initial cost of the contract is 3 million 333 thousand rubles. The service will be provided until August 31.

The agency notes that buses on this route have been stopping at the central beach since 2022. However, there is only one bus shelter on the beach. Sometimes vacationers have to wait for a bus in the open air.

Traditionally, the beach season in Lipetsk will open on June 1. It is not yet known which beaches will be officially allowed to swim on, as the sanitary authorities have repeatedly recognized the water in the Voronezh River as dangerous. The reason is sewage in the private sector.

Earlier it was reported that the house where writer Leo Tolstoy spent his last days will be restored in the Lipetsk region. The historic building is located in the village of Leo Tolstoy. The State Museum-Reserve of Leo Tolstoy allocated 89.6 million rubles for these purposes. The institution held a tender for restoration work to preserve windows of federal significance.
