VK's revenue in the first quarter of 2026 exceeded 37 billion rubles.
VK's revenue for the first quarter of 2026 increased by 2.1 billion rubles and amounted to 37.6 billion rubles. According to the company's operational and financial results, revenue growth in annual terms was 6%. This was announced on May 21 by the company's press service.
"The EBITDA margin increased by 3 percentage points and reached 17%. VK raises its forecast for 2026 and expects that by the end of the year the figure will amount to more than 24 billion rubles," the report says.
The company also noted a reduction in the debt burden. By the end of April 2026, VK's net debt decreased by 20 billion rubles, which is 25% of the level at the end of 2025. At the moment, the debt is fixed at around 62 billion rubles, and the ratio of net debt to EBITDA is 2.6.
Revenue growth was demonstrated by various business segments. Revenues of the VK Tech division increased by 59% to 4.3 billion rubles. Educational services for children brought the company 2.5 billion rubles, which is 23% more than last year's figures. Revenue from in-stream video advertising increased by 28% to 2.1 billion rubles, while revenue from online advertising for large businesses increased by 4% to 12.5 billion rubles.
According to Mediascope, in the first quarter of 2026, the average daily audience (DAU) of VK services increased by 9 million people and reached 87.8 million users. The average time spent was 6.9 billion minutes per day. Users spent 29% more time in the holding's services than in the same period of 2025. On average, one person uses two of the company's products per day and spends about 80 minutes in them.
On March 12, the VK Tech press service informed Izvestia that the revenue of the company's corporate software developer increased by 38% by the end of 2025 and reached 18.8 billion rubles. VK WorkSpace productivity services showed the most dynamic growth (+75.1%) and business applications (+65.7%). Recurring revenue more than doubled to RUB 12.8 billion— or 68% of the total.
