Zhirinovsky Street opened in Ufa

The grand opening of the street named after the founder of the Liberal Democratic Party Vladimir Zhirinovsky, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the politician, took place in Ufa. This was announced on May 21 by the party's leader Leonid Slutsky.

"Vladimir Zhirinovsky became the first Russian politician whose 80th birthday was celebrated by the decree of our president by the whole country. Dozens of events dedicated to this date are taking place all over Russia, monuments to the founder of the Liberal Democratic Party are being erected, streets are named after him," he said in an interview with TASS.
