Xi Jinping says he is ready to pay a visit to Turkmenistan

Chinese President Xi Jinping has agreed to the invitation of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to visit the country. This was reported on May 20 by TDH news agency with reference to a letter from the Chinese leader.

"I attach great importance to the development of Sino-Turkmen relations of comprehensive strategic partnership <...> and am ready to visit Turkmenistan at a convenient time for both sides," the Chinese president's letter says.

According to Xi Jinping, China has consistently advocated the expansion of mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries in various fields. The Chinese side intends to cooperate with Turkmenistan to create new successful examples of cooperation and further develop the concept of a community of a common destiny of the two states.
