The European Union (EU) lost up to $1 trillion as a result of the refusal to supply Russian raw materials and hydrocarbons. This was announced on May 21 by Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"They have already lost a lot. I've seen the figure, up to a trillion dollars," he told RIA Novosti.
