A pedestrian was killed in an accident on the federal highway in Primorye.

A foreign car hit a pedestrian who was walking along the roadway on the A-370 Khabarovsk —Vladivostok highway in the Khabarovsk Territory. The man died from his injuries.

The accident occurred near the town of Spassk-Dalny. According to the PrimaMedia news agency, a 49-year-old man was walking along the roadway in the direction of traffic. The driver of the Toyota Noah noticed the pedestrian too late and could not avoid being hit.

The victim suffered a severe skull injury, from which he died in an ambulance. An investigation is underway into the incident.

Over the past day, 318 road accidents occurred on the roads of Russia, in which 30 people were killed and 370 injured.
