Xi Jinping promised to put forward the concept of a "community of the common destiny of mankind"

Among other agreements between Russia and China, the concept of a "Community of the Common Destiny of Mankind" and four other global initiatives will be put forward. Chinese President Xi Jinping announced this on May 20 following talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"[The world] is facing a return to the law of the jungle. In this regard, I will put forward the concept of the community "United Destiny of Mankind" and four global initiatives that enjoy broad support from the international community, including Russia," he said.
