Knewstar car brand may expand its model range in Russia

The Knewstar automobile brand is evaluating the possibility of expanding the model range in Russia. This was told in the company's press service, specifying that information about the appearance of cars in 2026 will be shared additionally, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports on May 20.

The Knewstar automobile brand appeared in Russia in the fall of 2024, so far it offers only one model — the Knewstar 001 coupe crossover (formerly Geely Tugella). Price lists for cars manufactured in 2024 are now available on the official website of the Chinese brand, created specifically for the Russian market.

The Knewstar 001 car is offered with a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 200 or 238 hp. The engine is combined with an 8—speed automatic, all-wheel drive. The price ranges from 4.23 million to 4.57 million rubles.

It is assumed that the second model of the brand may be a crossover called, which hides the Geely Atlas of the second generation.

In the first quarter of 2026, sales of the Knewstar brand decreased by 8.5% to 1,248 vehicles.
