Dmitriev announced Witkoff's upcoming visit to Russia

Special Envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff will visit Russia "in the near future." This was announced on May 20 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported on April 22 that there were no specifics yet about a possible visit to Russia by Witkoff and businessman Jared Kushner. Peskov also noted: Moscow expresses the hope that the visits of the American negotiating group to the Russian Federation on the Ukrainian settlement will continue.
