The number of United States brigade combat teams in Europe has been reduced from four to three. This was announced on May 19 by Sean Parnell, a representative of the US Department of War.
"The Ministry of War has reduced the number of brigade combat teams assigned to Europe from four to three. This brings us back to the level of presence in Europe of the 2021 model," he said in a message to X (ex. Twitter).
