Rosselkhoznadzor has restricted the supply of bananas to the Ecuadorian exporter since May 20.

Starting from May 20, 2026, the Rosselkhoznadzor introduces a temporary ban on the supply of bananas to Russia from one of the exporters from Ecuador. This was reported on May 19 on the website of the press service of the department.

"The Rosselkhoznadzor informs about the introduction of temporary restrictions on the import of bananas to Russia from the Ecuadorian exporter Exportadora De Banano Levexport S.A from May 20, 2026," the publication says.
