In Chelyabinsk, the court wrote off YUGK's debts to Strukov by 17 billion rubles

The Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region wrote off the debt of YUGK Management Company LLC to its former owner Konstantin Strukov in the amount of more than 17 billion rubles. This was reported on May 19 in the law enforcement agencies of the region.

"Today, on May 19, upon the appeal of the company UK YUGK LLC, which was nationalized at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office <...>, the arbitration court <...> decided to write off the debts of this company to Strukov in the amount of more than 17 billion rubles," the source said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is specified that Strukov was charged a fee of 10 million rubles.

On May 18, the press service of the Federal Property Management Agency announced the holding of auctions for the sale of the Yuzhuralzoloto group of companies (YUGK) in the format of a Dutch auction from May 19. It was noted that applications will be accepted for five working days — until May 25, and the results will be announced on May 26. During the Dutch auction, the asset price can be reduced to 50% of the original value — up to 81 billion rubles.
