The Krasnodar Regional Court has upheld the complaint of Svetlana Shatunov, the widow of singer Yuri Shatunov, against the decision of the Sochi Khostinsky Court to establish the authorship of the songs "Tender May" by producer Andrei Razin, who was arrested in absentia. Lawyer Oleg Sitnikov, who represents the interests of the singer's widow, told Izvestia on May 19.

"Today, the Court of Appeal of the Krasnodar Regional Court overturned this 2007 decision. As of today, this fact fabricated by Razin (that he is the author of the hits) has lost its legal force," Sitnikov said.

According to him, until today's decision, Razin's side has lost all the courts in a dispute over the rights to the works "Gray Night", "White Roses" and other hits of "Tender May". In 2007, the side of the ex-producer of the band established through simplified proceedings in the Khostinsky court of Sochi in 2007 that "Razin is allegedly the author of all the hits of the band "Tender May".

The demand of the state prosecution was influenced by a large number of episodes in the fraud case, experts believe.

Lawyer Assel Mukhtarova-Kazarnovskaya informed Izvestia on November 24 that Razin had been charged with fraud on an especially large scale. According to the investigation, the producer for a long time used a fake contract with the author of the songs "Tender May" Sergey Kuznetsov and received money as the copyright holder. The poet's widow was recognized as a victim in the case. On the same day, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation put Razin on the wanted list, and the material damage in the criminal case against him amounted to about 500 million rubles.

On February 19, the Moscow City Court recognized Razin's arrest in absentia in a particularly large-scale fraud case. He is charged with Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud on an especially large scale") and faces up to 10 years in prison.
