A group of deputies led by Yaroslav Nilov, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, are going to introduce a bill to the State Duma, according to which it is proposed to introduce an annual paid leave of at least three days for working pensioners.

"Working old—age pensioners are provided with additional annual paid leave, the duration of which is determined by a collective agreement or internal labor regulations and which cannot be less than three calendar days," the text of the document, which is available to TASS, says.

The deputies propose to introduce amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. According to the authors, the number of able-bodied citizens in the country is decreasing, which means that pensioners are gaining more and more weight for the economy. Such measures are designed to increase the comfort of working pensioners' lives and encourage them to stay at their jobs with the opportunity to rest more.
