The daughter of a woman who spoke out against Pashinyan spoke about the reasons for her action

The woman who was yelled at by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an agitation campaign in Yerevan acted out of motives to inform the Armenian politician about the consequences of the "defeatist" policy of the authorities. Her daughter Tatev Soghoyan told Izvestia about this on May 19.

"As my mother noted, her performance had two main motives. First, it is the incessant defeatist policy of our motherland and the loss of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh. — Ed.). Secondly, there is a personal motive: in this sold—out war, my mother lost her brother, a lieutenant colonel in the medical service," the girl said.

According to Soghoyan, her mother is happy that she was able to personally tell Nikol Pashinyan everything she thinks. The woman's daughter stressed that the prime minister broke down after saying that he had "sold his homeland." According to the interlocutor of Izvestia, Pashinyan could not give a meaningful answer, falling into an "inadequate state."

She also said that the hospital where her mother had worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist for about 30 years had received instructions to dismiss the woman. According to Soghoyan, they do not have the paper itself in their hands, but she assumes that the decision will be executed through several fictitious reprimands to the doctor.

On May 18, during a campaign rally, Pashinyan shouted at a Karabakh Armenian woman who had entered into a dispute with him, promising to "bend and destroy" his political opponents, in particular, ex-president Robert Kocharyan and the head of the Strong Armenia party, Samvel Karapetyan. He also said that he would "rip off the masks" of all pro-Karabakh public figures.

Later, lawyer Roman Yeritsyan reported that on the same day Artur Osipyan was detained in Yerevan, who had previously entered into a dispute with the Prime Minister and accused him of corruption. In the video attached to the publication, Yeritsyan said that Osipyan's page, on which he actively criticized the prime minister, disappeared from the Network.
