A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Russian units continue to carry out their assigned tasks. Fighters of the North group took control of the village of Volokhovka in the Kharkiv region. In the Sumy region, fire damage was recorded by an enemy mechanized brigade, air defense forces and a border detachment in the areas of Bachevsk, Volnaya Sloboda and Zapselya. The total losses of the enemy amounted to more than 190 personnel, 22 vehicles and two electronic warfare stations.

The Southern group of troops has taken more convenient positions. Effective strikes were carried out against units of the mechanized, motorized infantry brigades and the assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Novoselovka, Malinovka, Tikhonovka, Ray-Alexandrovka, Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka of the DPR. The enemy's losses here are estimated at 160 people, three armored combat vehicles, 25 vehicles, four artillery pieces and two electronic warfare stations.

An improvement in the tactical situation was also noted in the area of responsibility of the Center group. Two mechanized formations, an assault and airmobile brigade, an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two National Guard brigades were hit by fire in the districts of Raipol, Podgavrilovka, Novopodgorodny (Dnipropetrovsk region), as well as Matyashevo, Dobropolye, Sergeyevka, Artyom and Kucherov Yar (DPR). The Ukrainian formations lost more than 280 soldiers, three armored combat vehicles, 11 vehicles, two field artillery guns and one electronic warfare station.

The Vostok group continues to wedge itself into the enemy's layered defenses. The strikes hit a mechanized, two assault, two amphibious assault brigades, two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a defense brigade in the areas of Mechetny, Mayak, Volchansky (Dnipropetrovsk region), as well as Lesnoy, Vasinovka, Rovny, Chervoniy Yar, Vozdvizhevka and Komsomolsky (Zaporizhia region). The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine here amounted to more than 315 military personnel, three armored personnel carriers, six vehicles and one artillery piece.

In the Dnieper direction, the Dnepr group inflicted damage to a mechanized brigade, a brigade of unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a brigade of marines in the areas of Novoraysk, Tomarino (Kherson region), as well as Grigorovka and Preobrazhenka (Zaporizhia region). Over 40 military personnel, two armored combat vehicles, 12 vehicles, an artillery piece and an electronic warfare station were destroyed.

Aircraft, attack drones, rocket troops and artillery of the Russian forces hit energy and port infrastructure facilities used by the Kiev regime, ammunition arsenals, production facilities for assembling long-range drones, as well as temporary bases of Ukrainian formations and foreign mercenaries in 152 districts. Air defense systems shot down five guided aerial bombs and 651 aircraft-type drones.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 148,843 unmanned aerial vehicles, 661 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29,368 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,723 multiple rocket launchers, 34,999 field artillery guns and mortars, 61,990 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
