The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out 40 attacks on Energodar overnight

Energodar of the Zaporizhia region was subjected to 40 attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at night. This was announced on May 19 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"Last night, the enemy carried out a massive attack on the town of Energodar <...> In total, more than 40 attacks were recorded," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

According to him, as a result of the attack, civilian infrastructure, private and apartment buildings, as well as cars were damaged.

In addition, Ukrainian militants shelled the transport workshop of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). The head of the region clarified that the conditions for the safe operation of the power units had not been violated. He also noted that despite the destruction, there were no casualties.

On the same day, residential buildings were damaged as a result of Ukrainian drone strikes in Energodar. Mayor Maxim Pukhov urged residents to avoid moving down the street.
