The circumstances of the incident

The An-2 aircraft took off from the village of Teply Klyuch. Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft commander decided to return to the airport of departure, after which he stopped contacting. Later, the crew was able to transmit the coordinates and report an emergency landing in the forest.

According to the Investigative Committee on Transport, the aircraft was carrying out aerial work on fire patrol. The cause of the emergency landing, according to preliminary information, was a technical malfunction.

Victims and evacuation

At the time of the emergency landing, there were eight people on board the An-2. There was no information about the victims. All passengers and crew members were able to leave the aircraft on their own and head towards the village of Teply Klyuch. Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and doctors went to the scene to provide assistance and clarify the circumstances of the incident.
