Dmitriev said about the growing isolation of Europe
Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special presidential envoy for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, said on May 18 that Europe was facing increasing isolation due to the policy of "progressivism."
"In addition to the large-scale energy crisis, Europe is facing growing isolation due to the policy of "progressivism" and the inability to correct erroneous decisions," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Foreign Policy magazine reported on May 17 that Europe may face a difficult period in relations with Russia after the end of the conflict in Ukraine. According to the publication, Europe's main vulnerability will be its military potential, on which deterrence capabilities depend.
