Blogger Ivan Cherkashin is facing deportation from Russia due to a mistake in his documents.

Blogger Ivan Cherkashin may be deported from Russia due to errors in migration documents. He announced this on May 18 in a video message on the Instagram social network (owned by Meta, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

The blogger explained that at the end of 2025, having failed to extend the documents for staying in the Russian Federation, he decided to leave for his native Kazakhstan, and then return back. The migration service assured him that there should be no problems.

Returning to the Russian Federation, Cherkashin applied for an extension of registration, for which he presented an employment contract, the Newspaper adds.Ru». However, the migration service staff, according to the blogger, did not enter this data into the database and registered him as a newcomer. Now the young man is facing deportation.

The Kazakh citizen assured that he had never violated the law, loved Russia and still wanted to work at a factory in St. Petersburg, as well as continue making content for young people.

On May 3, LDPR deputies announced that they had developed a package of bills obliging an employer to open a special bank account for foreign citizens and stateless persons who work for his company.
