Berry Seasons pavilions have been launched in Moscow

300 Berry Seasons pavilions have opened in Moscow, where you can buy strawberries, raspberries and other berries from different regions of Russia. This was announced on Monday, May 18, by the press service of the Moscow Department of Trade and Services.

The head of the department, Alexei Nemeryuk, noted that the number of outlets has increased by 20% compared to last year, as the format has long been popular with citizens. According to him, the pavilions are conveniently located near residential areas, metro stations and bus stops, and customers often stop by for berries on their way home or while walking, the Moscow City News agency reports.

The department clarified that the first shipments come from the southern regions, and the assortment expands as the berries ripen. They added that strawberries remain the most in-demand product: last season they accounted for about 80% of sales out of a total volume of more than 3.5 thousand tons, Moscow 24 clarifies.
