Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the BRICS summit, which will be held in New Delhi, India, on September 12-13. This was announced on May 18 by Presidential Aide for International Affairs Yuri Ushakov.

"Then a bilateral contact is envisaged [with Chinese President Xi Jinping] at the BRICS summit in New Delhi on September 12-13," he announced.
