Air defense forces shot down 91 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory

The Air Defense Forces shot down 91 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in nine hours. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions of Russia. This was announced on May 18 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"From 07:00 Moscow time to 16:00 Moscow time, 91 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that the drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Tula regions, as well as over the Krasnodar Territory. In addition, the UAV was hit over the Moscow region, the Defense Ministry concluded.
