The alleged Ukrainian drone that crashed in eastern Lithuania contained explosives
The alleged Ukrainian drone (UAV) that crashed in eastern Lithuania the day before contained explosives. This was announced by the Lithuanian Police Department on May 18.
"Employees of the anti—terrorist unit of the Aras police have established that explosives are located at the place where the crashed drone was found," the Lithuanian State Television and Radio station LRT reports.
The ministry added that the experts decided to defuse the explosives right at the crash site. The decision was explained by the fact that the drone poses a danger to transportation. According to the deputy head of the chief police Commissariat of the Utena district, Mindaugas Puskunigis, the UAV was "completely destroyed" during the fall.
