Comprehensive rural development and the creation of career opportunities for young villagers will be included in the new national program of the United Russia party. This was announced on May 18 at the report and program forum "There is a result!" by the secretary of the General Council of the party, Vladimir Yakushev.

According to him, the rural development program is fully synchronized with the people's party program. United Russia deputies guarantee its financing, which exceeded 110 billion rubles in 2025.

"As a result, new schools and kindergartens are being built in villages, as well as medical and obstetric centers. — Ed.) and polyclinics, sports and cultural institutions. Housing is being built, roads are being renovated, cultural centers and libraries are being repaired," the United Russia press service quoted him as saying on its website.

An additional area of joint work between the party and the government is the training of personnel for the village, Yakushev noted. More than 1,000 agricultural school classes have been opened throughout the country, and the Zemsky Doctor, Zemsky Paramedic, and Zemsky Teacher programs are in operation. In addition, new initiatives were launched — "Zemsky Cultural worker" and "Zemsky trainer".

Oleg Rozhnov, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow State Duma, said that over the past five years, more than 40 schools and kindergartens have been built in the Moscow Region, and about 70 educational facilities have been overhauled. Since 2021, gas pipelines have been installed in 196 rural settlements — over 250 thousand residents have received gas. In 2026, they plan to provide gas to another 50,000 people, he assured.

The collection of instructions for the new national program continues in the Moscow region and throughout the country. More than 33,000 residents have already submitted their proposals, the party's press service explains. Among the initiatives are increased funding for roads and bridges in small towns and rural areas, the overhaul of cultural centers, the development of women's clinics in rural areas, as well as the creation of local sports teams.

On May 15, Senator Sergey Perminov, a member of the general council of the party, announced that more than 20.3 thousand candidates had applied to participate in the preliminary voting of the United Russia party at all election levels. Applications for participation in the primaries ended on May 14, and the voting itself will last from May 25 to May 31. According to Perminov, 20,396 applications were submitted for the first model.
