The CEO of the Gem publishing house may be charged with new episodes of crimes.

The investigation may present new episodes of crimes to Andrey Cherkasov, general director of the Jam music publishing house, a correspondent of Izvestia reported on May 18 from the Tverskoy courtroom in Moscow.

This became known during the consideration of the investigation's request for an extension of Cherkasov's detention. As a source told Izvestia earlier, one of the episodes of fraud is connected with the People's Artist of Russia, composer Vyacheslav Dobrynin. Then the "First Music Publishing House" was recognized as the victim, since the rights to Dobrynin's works belong to him.

Another episode, as the media wrote, is related to the founders of the group "Hands Up!" Sergey Zhukov and Alexey Potekhin, they are recognized as victims in the case. It was reported that, according to Cherkasov himself, Zhukov illegally uses more than one dozen songs, the rights to which belong to "Jam".

According to the Izvestia source, the criminal cases of singer Linda's director Mikhail Kuvshinov and Cherkasov are also interconnected. The office of Profit LLC, Cherkasov's second company, and the office of Top 7 Company LLC, which belongs to his wife, were also searched. They directly relate to the detention and interrogation of Svetlana Gaiman, as Daria Shamova, director of Profit LLC, and Linda allegedly appropriated the rights of producer Maxim Fadeev to the singer's songs with the help of forged documents. The singer herself is in the status of a witness.

In addition, the investigation period in Cherkasov's case has been extended until August 20. The court is currently considering whether to extend the custody of the defendant.

At the same time, Fadeev was recognized as a victim in the Kuvshinov case.
