The defendant in the Dolina apartment case intends to ask for a change in punishment

One of the defendants in the case of fraud involving the apartment of singer Larisa Dolina, Andrei Osnovy, intends to ask for the punishment to be replaced with forced labor. This was announced on May 18 by lawyer Asim Alyev.

"My client did not want me to file a cassation appeal, although I had already prepared it. The thing is that he expects to achieve a change in punishment — from serving in a general regime colony to correctional or forced labor," the lawyer told the Izvestia correspondent

At the end of February, Alyev reported that an acquaintance of his client had misled him. In March 2024, the Base was paid for issuing a bank card — at that time, the legislation did not yet provide for liability for such actions. According to the man, the card was supposed to be used for crypto trading manipulations. He noted that the location of the man who suggested that the Base engage in droppery is unknown.

"In early April, three transactions were made from the account of the victim Larisa Dolina to a bank account that my client did not actually use. We only know who used this bank card from the words of his friend. We assume that it is him or one of his accomplices," Alyev added.

At the end of December, the Moscow City Court ordered the singer to vacate the elite living space.

In November last year, the Balashikha City Court issued a verdict in the case of the sale of the singer's apartment. It was clarified that librarian Angela Tsyrulnikova, who took the funds from the singer, received seven years in prison with a fine of 1 million rubles. At the same time, three more defendants in the case — Osnovy, Artur Kamenetsky and Dmitry Leontiev — were sentenced to terms from four to seven years in a penal colony with a fine of 900 thousand rubles.

Later, the court increased the punishment for Dolina Tsyrulnikova, a defendant in the apartment fraud case. The term that Tsyrulnikova will have to serve in a general regime colony has been increased by three months.
