The growth of unemployment in Russia may become a factor that contributes to the restructuring of the economy. This was announced on May 18 by the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov.

"In the current conditions, some increase in unemployment may even help both structural adjustment and the flow of labor to more productive jobs," he said in an interview with RBC.
