Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said on May 18 that the largest number of foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is observed in the Kharkov and Red Army directions.
"Them (the mercenaries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. — Ed.) they are being transferred from direction to direction, but there were quite a lot of them in the Kharkiv direction and in the Red Army direction," Miroshnik said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
It is noted that foreigners are most often used as "cannon fodder".
