The US Senate announced the preparation of new sanctions against Russia

The United States is currently discussing the adoption of new sanctions against Russia, as well as duties for countries that buy Russian oil. This was announced on May 17 by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham (listed as a terrorist and extremist by Rosfinmonitoring).

"As for Russia, we are very close to congressional approval of sanctions that will allow the president to impose duties and sanctions <...>. And any country that buys cheap Russian oil <... It may be subject to duties," he told NBC News.
